Hi Tony
I just want to say ' Congratulations' to all 'Manchester United' fans, whose club celebrated winning the Premiership yesterday. As a matter of fact, I did not see the actual game, but I read about it in the ' Khaleej Times newspaper.'
After joining the 'IELTS course,' I decided that I will read only local English language newspapers and believe me, it HELPS A LOT!
This weekend, I will try to write about my IELTS exam experience which I went through on 12th May. The latest students might read and benefit from it.
No worries! Have courage. There is nothing to be afraid of.
All the best
Firas

Bravo to you Firas, for tackling IELTS and keeping in touch with us.
I am most definitely NOT a Manchester United fan, but they deserved to win the Premiership. My team, Watford, got relegated, but they gained a lot and will come back, next year, In Sha Allah!
We look forward to hearing about your IELTS experience, some candidates are doing the test on 24 May - the day after the course finishes! They'd love to hear from you!
All the best!
Excellent advice on reading either the Gulf News OR Khaleej Times - try them on alternate days and see which paper you prefer (I am a KT subscriber of long standing!).
Bye for now (BFN)
Tony
