Try Globish
Dear All,
Its worth to read about Globish,I am writing to support who is agreed with Globish if he do not mined ,please give attention that Globish is not a language ,it is a simple communication channel between different nationalities with a very limited vocabulary and simple rule.I believe that most of the people who are studying English aimed to get the essential bases to be good enough to start their overseas studies or lives in other hand a few student they are planing to study English Literature or Poetry.however English language is one of the most important live languages, but many nationalities are fighting against spreading this language, some of them having this attitude because of their jingo, like German, some of them following this strategy because they have competing history with UK to control the the old and new world since last few centuries like Franc, others they are against English due their cliquish system like eastern Europa, while other countries set against English language due to it is reminders them of the black history period when UK was occupied many countries and utilized them in undignified way like Libya and Syria.Globish is not belong to any nation it is developing of English language to be more simple and effectiveness.Globish is the result of French effort on English language which will give a universal meaning.

Thank you, Ahmed, for your defence of Globish!
The Globish debate might well have to be postponed till Tuesday.
Some points from my side:
1. The current importance of English is more due to the power of the USA than the British Empire that was.
2. Libya was occupied by the Italians.
3. Syria was part of the French mandate after World War One.
4. English language serves as a unifying force in countries such as India and has no great negative associations with the colonial era as such.
5. There is indeed an element of 'linguistic imperialism' in the dominance of English as a world language - maybe Globish has a role to play to counter this or can English adapt to the needs of people who have to communicate in a very basic, yet effective manner?
6. Should we all learn Urdu?
See you on Monday!
Tony
'linguistic imperialism' it was a slogan to stand againest spreed of English language in many countries same as Syria and Libya.
United kingdom was leading the world since the industrial revolution started thats UK became the richest and strongist impire in all the word, because of this flourishes in Sciences, economic and miletary English language became the language of the new Omniscience instaed of latien, and Uk universties were the aim of thausends of the students and engineers.
I do not necessarily agree with Ahmed, but he has the courage to express his opinions! Mistakes are corrected in CAPITALS:
'linguistic imperialism' was a slogan to stand AGAINST THE SPREAD of English language in many countries SUCH as Syria and Libya.
[says who?]
THE United kingdom was leading the world since the industrial revolution started that IS WHY THE UK became the richest and strongEST Empire in all the worLd. AS A RESULT, Science, economicS and miletAry FLOURISHED AND THE English language became the language of the new WORLD [???] instEAd of latiN, and THE UK universties were the DESTINATION aim of thausAnds of the students and engineers.
HMM, AHMED LIKES SWEEPING STATEMENTS!
He also confuses 'the UK' and 'Britain' - can anyone enlighten him as to the difference?
Keep it up, Ahmed! The rest of the class are NOT contributing - what a pity!
Also, I am postponing the GLOBISH debate until Lesson 8 on TUESDAY 15 May.
BFN
Tony
